The Squamish-Lillooet regional district lies north of the city of Vancouver, and it’s the land of mountains. It stretches from Britannia Beach to Lillooet, is home to the Sea to Sky Highway, famous Garibaldi Lake and Joffre Lakes, and the municipalities of Lillooet, Pemberton, Whistler and Squamish – which are all known for the hikes and outdoor adventures that’s available near them.
Squamish and Whistler are usual day trips from Vancouver.
